Last evening was the first game of the playoff season for Aiden's team, The Sharks. They had placed 6th in the regular season, and they were up against the second place team, a team that had hurled insults at them and tripped Aiden 3 times in their previous contest just a few weeks ago, which the Sharks lost. This time the tables were turned. The Sharks played their best game of the season and Aiden went out and scored the first two goals on them. The team was playing aggressively going after the puck and tight in their defense in their own end zone. It would have been a shut out but the opposing team scored a goal in the last minute so the score was 7 to 1 in favour of the Sharks. This is considered a big upset. It turns out that the scout for the AA team was watching the game and asked for Aiden to be at the tryouts for the Toros for next season. We are proud of Aiden and the way the team came together to support one another for this opening game of the playoffs. It was so exciting to watch.
