A Friend Returns to the Stage

 

Bev Jeeves returned to the stage after a 23 year absence. She is the secretary of our local Historical Society that I am president and she has been a foundation of our Historical Society for a number of years now. Bev has a wonderful voice that comes out of a Nova Scotia tradition of having all family members play and instrument. Don Messer of Don Messer's Jubilee fame would tape his shows in Halifax then go to Bev's family house and play till the wee hours of the morning each time he was in Halifax to tape a show.
