B&W Portraits of Grandkids

We were babysitting today so we thought we would update the picture frames of the grandkids. The pictures at their home are a year old so it is time for some new ones. Quinten is getting better slowly. He was out playing street hockey with me and he is taking some solid food. Lexy here is a doll and loves to have her picture taken. Aiden Showing Guitar Playing

When in Lindsay, Aiden showed his great grandfather Ken (90 this summer) how he is learning to play the guitar, and of course Ken is showing Aiden how he too is learning to play guitar as ken just started a few months ago. Quinten Has His Tonsils Out

What a difference a day makes. Yesterday, Quint thought it would be quite the adventure to go to the hospital ... today after the operation he is easily upset. He has his mom and dad with him in the hospital room, but what he wanted was his brother Aiden, so his brother and sister came for a visit. Poor guy is tired, hungry and has an upset tummy. He was lookin a little white today. Hopefully he will be home tomorrow. Click here to see a few more pics.

Sunny Ontario

The temperature here in Newcastle, Ontario is in the teens this afternoon with bright sunshine and no wind. I am working on getting some of those sun's rays on my skin. It has been a very mild winter this year and it appears that spring has arrived early. I cannot remember a spring when it has been so mild.

Aiden Plays Soccer

Aiden loves to play soccer. He does not score all that often but he does dominate the play on the field. He is good at challenging for the ball, working the ball down field and helping his goalie. Wenda and Doreen

We dropped in to see Wenda's parents Ken and Doreen who live in Lindsay. A bit of shopping and a lovely lunch made for an all round nice visit together. Click here to see a couple more pics.

The Shark

Quinten finished this round of indoor soccer today and Wenda took a couple pics on her cell phone. The other parents had been calling him "The Shark" because he had been eagerly persuing the ball during each game. We are pleased that his skills have really developed during this season.
