93 Year Old Biker

Well he won't be 93 til August but Ken still remembers what it is like to go cruisin for chicks on a hot bike. Terry and Warren rode their bikes up to Lindsay for a visit. Ken strapped on a helmet and went for a quick ride around the parking lot on the back of Terry's bike. It was quite clear that he still had the thrill for bike riding.

Aiden Turns 10

Aiden turns 10 years old and that means yummy yummy, nana made a cake.  The little guy is growing up so fast.

Tulips in Ottawa

Earlier in May, we went to Ottawa with our friends David and Sharon to see the world famous Tulip Festival. The temperature was on the cool side but the tulips loved it. Its a great place to go, and there are museums galore, but guess how much we paid in parking over 3 days ... one hundred dollars. Somebody has to pay for Mike Duffy's home expenses ...LOL!

Ottawa Tulip Festival

Over a million  tulips in bloom, and most will die and be replaced by new ones next year. Holland sends 10,000 new ones to Canada each year in appreciation.

It's Snowing In Lindsay

I just washed the car to take Wenda's parents out for "Mother's Day". What a surprise to be caught in a snowstorm when we arrived in Lindsay. The elevation here is 1500 feet but it's only 350 feet in Newcastle. The higher the altitude the cooler it gets.

Olli Is A Senior

Happy birthday Olli. Olli was one of my first students in the gliding club, and has remained a close friend ever since.

100 years & 20 months

Our friend David's aunt  Etalka turns 100 and Lilly came to visit.

Now That's A First

Amber my oldest grandchild came over with an offer to make dinner for us. It was wonderful. Especially when you remember how we hate to cook dinners.
It's a happy day. Aiden was accepted onto the single A team today. And now we can all take a deep breath and relax.
