Backyard Pond Skating

This is the first time in four years that conditions have been right to produce an excellent ice surface for skating on the pond in our grandkids back yard. Its quite a large pond and the activity started at 7 am when Frank got out there shovelling off the ice surface. The boys later pitched in to produce a very large ice surface. The whole family got on the ice for a very active morning of skating. These kids will have great memories of growing up in the country. Click here to see more pictures of fun on the pond.

Alive at 65

Frank took us out to The Keg to celebrate my milestone birthday. Needless to say, I did stray off the diet just a wee bit.

Glow-In -The-Dark-Golf

Lilly's Big Photoshoot

Lilly needed to update her photos - they grow up so fast. Taking pics has to happen so fast when they are this age. You have about 1 minute if you are lucky to get a series of shots and if the Gods of Photography are smiling on you, you will get one that captures the spirit of the child. Lilly smiles so much all the time, and I think this one is representative of this beautiful child at this age.

Lexy the Model

Lexy came by for a visit today. It was a perfect opportunity to get an updated picture for her gallery of photos. You could not ask for a better model. She is so photogenic.

Amber and Josh Visit

It was nice to have Amber and her boyfriend Josh come over for a visit. Between her being off sick and attending school in Belleville, we have not really had much of a chance to talk with her since she started college in the fall. Our little grandchild seems to be growing up real fast.

Grandkids

Amber is spending a good portion of Sunday with us. Its a chance for her to reconnect with her cousins on Wenda's side. Her boyfriend Josh is here as well.

Lilly Reads

I remember a similar photo that I took 8 years ago when Aiden used to like sitting down with a book. They are so similar in so many ways.

Dining Out

We took Lilly and Lexy up to Lindsay to visit their great geandparents Doreen and Ken. Lilly always wants to go out with us. So today she was particulaly pleased to be going out to Lindsay and Smittys for lunch.

Lilly's Arm

We were all worried about Lilly. She was crying constantly and favouring the arm. This morning Tracy n Frank took her into emerg. Xrays showed bones n joints OK! So she is all wrapped up in a tensor bandage for for a couple days. Most likely its in the wrist.
