This was taken a couple weeks ago when Aiden got his first chance to bike ride with his friend that lives near our place. I did some experimenting in Photo Shop for this picture. Learning through practicing.
We have been painting Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday to help Tracy and Frank get their new house finished.

The boys were in for their dental checkup, and it seems they were pretty good about it.
Often they go across the street to see the progress on their new home. The tiles on the main floor have been laid, and there is much painting going on this weekend. Still needing cupboards and a lot of finishing touches - hard to think they could be living in there in 3 weeks.
Sure would appreciate seeing some warm weather sometime soon.

Sharing Dinner

We worked on Tracy and Frank's new house today and we will be doing so again tomorrow, but Aiden wanted to come home with us so he gets a sleepover. On the way home, we went to the beach to feed the birds.

I am blessed to have a willing assistant to help me with my photography. I wanted to try a sunset shot and Wenda graciously humored me. It is now official - I am on holidays for a week. The kids were a bit wild in the last period of the day but we managed to get them all out of my room in one piece. With the snow retreating and the weather warming, we are looking forward to some good times over the holidays.

Spring Weather

Wenda and I went out for a short drive to see the birds along the shore of Lake Ontario today. It was a beautiful mild day with the snow receding and the smell of the soil once again. Most of our snow has now melted and we are all anxious to go out in the mild weather.
