Alexys Faith has Arrived

After much deliveration, Alexys has made her debut. It was an unusual birth for sure not what Tracy was expecting; however, she is healthy passed her first test with a score of nine and getting some colour now. She was bruised on the head and face, but that should go away in a few days. The boys were glad to see her and have had a visit their new sister at the hospital in Cobourg already. Alexys weighed 7 lb 7.9 oz and was 19 and 3/4 inches in length.

Tramp Tricks

Aiden was anxious to show off some of his tricks on the trampoline today. He did this and tried a 360 spin but that did not go as well. Kids enjoyed playing outside today as mommy rested for the big event.

Quinten Drives The Quadrunner

We were surprised to see Quinten sit on the quadrunner and activate the pedal ... he was at the low speed mode but still had trouble with the steering as he headed right for the fence. I guess he has been watching his older brother drive this rig quite a bit.

Future Football Star

I was so surprised to see Aiden throw the football today. I guess in the order of 3 out of 4 throws were straight and a perfect spiral. I can't throw that ball as well as he does.
Now he wants to play football all the time. I'm thinking hmmm football scolarships in the US are pretty good. Lets play some football kid!

Hay Wagon

I noticed that Quinten was stripping off handfuls of hay from the bale to put into his wagon and haul it about. After a while, they were putting it through the fence to feed the cows. Ahhh, life on a farm !

Today Aiden discovered a caterpillar and gently picked it up. After a few moments of sharing it with his brother, the caterpillar was placed on the leaves of our vine to munch away.

Magic Beans

Aiden dug two holes in the backyard and wanted to plant magic beans. When I said I did not think we had "magic" beans he said, "The beans we had for supper will do. So we retrieved a couple and Aiden explained how we will see the two beanstocks rising up to the clouds tomorrow and he will climb to the top to see baby Jesus.

Exploring The Nature Trail

Aiden went with Allan to explore the nature trail that runs through the city next to our town. We did not see the ducks but we did see a rabbit and lots of birds.

First Kiss

Quinten and Michayla had their first kiss at our place. In fact, one was not enough and the two were bumping lips quite a bit while saying goodbye. What surprised me was how the two easily took to this exercise - it appears that they have been practicing with their grandparents to get in shape for this event.

Hot Summer Days

The boys were in and out of this petite pool a hundred times today. Kids love skinny dipping and they sure do not need much of a reason to do so.

Quinten's Swim Lesson

All this week Quinten and Aiden have been taking swim lessons at the municipal pool. Aiden passed his level and now moves on to sunfish in the big pool. Quinten dove in and would go right under. Here Wenda is teaching him to put his face in the water and blow bubbles.
