Taking Brother for a Ride

Aiden was able to take Quinten for a ride along the patio on his tractor. This is the first year that Aiden is able to actually pedal the tractor. In the background you can see the steps up to the top of Aiden's slide, well he calls it his pirate ship. Today he sat up there, had his lunch there and sang pirate songs while steering with his pirate wheel. It was sunny and 20C - a beautiful day for the boys to play in our back yard.

JUMPING

Aiden wanted to show me his new trampoline. The little monkey can really jump high. What a great thing this is for getting the kids all worn out before bedtime.

A few minutes earlier I was in there with both him and Quinten. Quinten laughed and laughed then he would come over and fall on me and laugh, laugh again.

Building Crew

Aiden is giving Allan a helping hand to build his Pirate ship. It took a day, but we constructed this platform for the slide (on the right). Aiden was very pleased to have a place to store his tractor below and a platform for his pirate adventures.
It was Tracey's (Aiden's mom) 30th birthday today, so we had family over to celebrate.

Springtime on the Farm

Yup, its time to get that tractor out and start working that back 40 acres. Quinten watched his brother ride this tractor all afternoon but was not allowed onto the patio to try the tractor ... until his brother went shopping with mom ... he made a beeline straight to the tractor.

2 Hours at the Park

It was the first day of spring that was not cold or rainy. Allan took Aiden down to the park on the waterfront in Oshawa for two hours of play with other kids. He certainly enjoyed himself and he made a few friends along the way.

Playtime with Quinten

Wenda and Allan babysat this evening while Quinten's parents attended the confirmation service for Tracy, Quinten's mom. Now that he is walking, Quinten is constantly in motion and this makes it pretty hard to get pictures of the little guy as he will not hold still.
Quinten is just 15 months old and a going concern. He is always chasing after his big brother trying to do the same things that Aiden does.

The Soccer Player

Aiden will be 4 in May. He is signed up to play soccer this summer, but already he is practicing for the big games. Last year his dad made a soccer pitch in the back yard and we expect that Aiden will be practicing lots during the spring season. This cold weather does not seem to have stopped him from going outside to practice. He is able to take the ball from his papa and has a pretty good kick.
