The olympic torch passed just a couple hundred metres from our house today. John here from Belleville transferred the flame to his torch right at the street corner by our house. His two young kids were there just as proud as punch that their daddy was going to carry the torch. It started snowing just before the torch arrived and quit just after it left ... a fitting blessing. I was surprised at all the support vehicles with loud music blaring that accompany the torch.
