Time to Get Outside

It has been a bitterly cold winter, and the kids have been indoors for quite a long time. They were anxious to get outside on this PA day. Lilly loved to go for a ride on her swing, climb the rock wall and use the slide on her play structure. After a half hour, her cheeks were rosy red and she was ready to come back inside.

Lilly would like a longer afternoon nap even if she has to do so standing up.

Quin came up to me with a sexy romance novel and said, "Papa, I got those!" He points to the rippling Abs on the book cover, then lifts his shirt to show me the product of his first night's workout - 100 situps. Coincidentally, he had a sore tummy, and stayed home from school, that day.

Platinum Blonde

The boys on Aiden's hockey team all Coloured their hair blond for the playoffs. Since Aiden is naturally blond he went even lighter ... "platinum"!

Natalie Turns 40

My stepson Terry's wife Natalie turned 40 and Terry threw a big house party to help her cope.  She seems to be handling it well.

Daddy! Come home.

It's back to school for all the kids and I guess Lilly was missing everyone. So she picked up her play phone and started calling each family member. She even invited Amber for dinner.
