Unintentional Flip

Aiden was sitting on his trampoline while others were bouncing. The combined bounce of two others suddenly launched him airborne into a backward flip. Shaken but not stirred for a few minutes.

It was a wonderful day for Aiden's birthday party. Not too much sun and not too hot or cold. There were plenty of activities for the kids and lots of space for them to roam around.

Michaela and mom Amanda

Today, Wenda's neice Amanda dropped by for a visit. Michaela is nearly two years old and enjoyed playing with Aiden and Quinten today. Our back yard is well suited for entertaining kids as she enjoyed the slides, sandbox and a ride on Aiden's tractor.

Learning to Write

Aiden is getting a lesson in printing at our kitchen table. He is printing his name so that it can be put on a gift for a birthday party he attended this day.

Taking Brother for a Ride

Aiden was able to take Quinten for a ride along the patio on his tractor. This is the first year that Aiden is able to actually pedal the tractor. In the background you can see the steps up to the top of Aiden's slide, well he calls it his pirate ship. Today he sat up there, had his lunch there and sang pirate songs while steering with his pirate wheel. It was sunny and 20C - a beautiful day for the boys to play in our back yard.

JUMPING

Aiden wanted to show me his new trampoline. The little monkey can really jump high. What a great thing this is for getting the kids all worn out before bedtime.

A few minutes earlier I was in there with both him and Quinten. Quinten laughed and laughed then he would come over and fall on me and laugh, laugh again.

Building Crew

Aiden is giving Allan a helping hand to build his Pirate ship. It took a day, but we constructed this platform for the slide (on the right). Aiden was very pleased to have a place to store his tractor below and a platform for his pirate adventures.
It was Tracey's (Aiden's mom) 30th birthday today, so we had family over to celebrate.

Springtime on the Farm

Yup, its time to get that tractor out and start working that back 40 acres. Quinten watched his brother ride this tractor all afternoon but was not allowed onto the patio to try the tractor ... until his brother went shopping with mom ... he made a beeline straight to the tractor.
