Aiden's Photos Op

We try and capture an 8 x 10 shot of each of the kids to hang in the hallway leading up the stairs at Tracys each year.  Now that Aiden is back, I grabbed this shot before taking him to his swimming lesson.

Lilly Goes to Market

Lilly went shopping for some new plants at the local garden center. Not content to just look at the flowers she grabs em and says "Ta ta ta ta ta!

Happy Birthday Aiden

Its the big boy's 9th birthday. Dinner at Boston Pizza and back to his grandparents for Birthday Cake.  And he gets dome help with the candles.

T I M B E R. ! ! !

Well Wenda will be happy. After years of complaining about the big trees blocking the sun from our back yard,  the trees came down today.

I CAN SEE CLEARLY NOW ¿¿¿ :-O

Gone is the cedar hedge, the short 70 metre walk to the bank, and the field that the grandkids used to fly their kites. By November we will be staring into the front entrance of a No Frills store. Yes the back of the store is streetside! I can't tell you what it is like to awaken each say to the vibrations of a compacting roller shaking the house at 7am.

Them Dam Yankees

Wenda and I went to the Rogers Centre (aka Sky Dome) to see the Blue Jays play The Yankees. Weather is a beautiful 16 C. We are so high up behind home plate there is only one row higher. You know how in most games the vendors sell beer and peanuts? Up here the guy is selling oxygen!

Volunteer Award

Once a year the Municipality of Clarington honours it volunteers. This year I was nominated by the Newcastle Village & District Historical Society. It was a neat ceremony - hors d' oevres live band and one gets a picture with the Mayor.

Four Generations

Lilly gets help from her great grandfather to walk. She wants to cover lots of territory but she just does not have the balance to do it on her own.

Lexy is all dressed up for a special day ar Nursery School.

Upper Body Strength

Lilly wants to be standing. You try and sit her on the floor and she stiffens her body straight. Now it appears that she is starting to find ways to pull herself into a standing position all on her own.
