The Little Princess

 

Lexy is such a little doll. She sits there calmly and lets us dress her up and take as many pics as one would like. We were babysitting Monday night and decided to play dressup. Brian Mack Retires

 

I have worked with Brian for 14 years and his retirement is a big change for the school, the students and especially the staff that have worked with him. With Brian and me is Lianne who had an adjoining classroom. Brian provided that steadiness and professionalism that defined the character of the grade 8 program in the school. He will be missed.

Lexy enjoys her bath and is a great kid for bathtime but bedtime is her fuss time. Allan and his friend Olli went out on a Geocache on Saturday and found that there is still quite a bit of snow in the woods. We did manage to locate the cache hidden under a log in the forest. It was an adventure. Lexy and Luigi

 

Today is Palm Sunday and the Cupelli's have invited us once again to their traditional dinner. Here is a picture of Lexy with her grandfather Luigi. Just Kids at Heart

 

Wenda takes her grandson Quinten for a ride down the death defying "Snow Slide". With all the snow that we have had it was easy to build up the corners for the high speed turns. To see more of these thrill riders just click on these coloured words.

TOO MUCH SNOW

 

We had one of the worst snowstorms of the winter yesterday. It lasted about 24 hours and piled up lots of snow everywhere. We have so much snow that we have trouble shovelling it. When it is this deep, you have to lift the snow 6 feet high to put it on top of the snow bank. Here is a picture of the snow drift that formed outside our back door. Aiden was making good use of bench time by making friends with this girl. He's quite the charmer. Later in the afternoon, we took some pictures of Lexy. The boys went out and played on a huge mountain of snow that Frank had piled up for them with the snow plow.
