Making the Ice Slide

 

Allan has just returned from 4 days at Ottawa with over 100 grade 8 kids from school. But the weather seems perfect for making an ice slide in our back yard. Like a water slide it has a couple of bends in the path. He carved the path with a snow shovel then made many trips with the watering can yesterday and it appears to be nice and solid today. Quinten's Birthday

Quinten has the distinct luck of being born on Groundhog Day. He received lots of presents but the toy he loved the most was his battery operated train. He would either sit in the middle of the track circle and rotate around watching the engine or skip along the outside of the circular track. But it was his day and we were happy to see the kid enjoy his toys.
